Our story
Founded in frustration. Built on conviction.
Zak has been building websites for almost 20 years. He built his first WordPress site at 18, worked in agencies and in-house marketing teams big and small, and freelanced under his own name for years, before setting up Zed Studio Ltd in 2022.
The pattern was always the same. A client would ask for a new website, and the agency would build a new website. Nobody stepped back to ask whether that was what they actually needed. A few months later the call would come: “The new website hasn’t done anything.” It usually wasn’t a website problem. It was a traffic problem, a positioning problem, or a strategy problem nobody had looked at.
Zed exists to do that differently. We start with the business behind the brief, get to know you before we recommend anything, and we’re honest when what you think you need isn’t what you actually need. That’s why every project starts with a Digital Roadmap Session, before we build and run the engine that delivers it.
The name is a small story too: Zed is the initial Zak shares with his eldest daughter, Zarley.

Yes, where it genuinely helps. AI lets us work faster and spot opportunities sooner, but real people plan, write and check everything we do.
