The starting point
DCRS has been supplying two-way radios and body-worn cameras across the UK for over 35 years, from hire to sales and servicing.
- Enquiries were flat at roughly 20 a month all year.
- The hire page drew a big share of the site’s traffic, but visitors stayed about 3 seconds on average and only around 1.8% enquired.
- Long, generic sector emails were underperforming.
- There was no way to see where enquiries came from, and no follow-up system.
What we did
How we did it
A new website
Built first, as the foundation for everything that followed.
An email reset
Short, single-purpose emails replaced long sector sends, and the monthly programme was simplified.
The hire page, rebuilt on evidence
Nine sections, three forms, a trust bar and a callback option. The key insight: hire visitors are choosing a supplier, not a product, so the equipment cards came off.
Lead capture
A Radio Buyer’s Guide popup, a UK Bodycam Playbook download and a Bodycam Finder quiz that feeds the CRM.
CRM and follow-up
Tagged contacts, sales and hire pipelines, a six-email buyer’s guide sequence and follow-up after hire quotes, sent from named DCRS staff.
Honest measurement
A monthly enquiry dashboard covering every website form plus quiz enquiries, deduplicated, with internal tests left out.
The results
What changed
- Monthly enquiries more than doubled, from 20.4 a month in 2025 to 45.8 a month from January to August 2026 (+125%, website forms plus quiz)
- Website forms alone up 101%, from 19.6 a month in 2025 to 39.4 a month from January to September 2026
- 169 enquiries from July to September 2026, up from 38 a year earlier
- July 2026 was the biggest month on record, with 79, and the five biggest months ever all fall in the last six months
- The three-month average roughly tripled, from about 20 to 60 or more
- Hire enquiries from about 20 in the hire page’s first 13 months combined to 15 to 18 a month since the rebuild

Quality rose with volume
More enquiries, and better ones.
- Recent quiz enquiries include a police force, two local councils, a further education college and several security firms.
